Abstract (2. Language):
Neo-liberalism has emerged as an assertive and comprehensive idea, theory and
ideology having new and creative interpretations about the individual, society and the state, in
the last quarter of the 20th century. This discourse which we can define as the challenge for
the intervenist policies and the structure of social-welfare state, on one hand, both brought
social, political and economic liberalisation, on the other hand, and grasped the identiy
politics in order to unify the fragmented supra-political roof. Neo-liberalism gained vital
importance and consideration becuse its peculiarities such as synchronized evolution with the
globalisation, individualisation and identity-fragmentation and its flexibility and
responsiveness for the aforementioned processes within the original socio-political
argumentation

Neo-liberalizm, yirminci yüzyılın son çeyreğinde bireye, topluma ve devlete yeni
yorumlar getiren iddialı ve kapsayıcı bir fikir, kuram ve ideoloji olarak ortaya çıktı. Refah
devletinin müdahaleci yapısına bir meydan okuma olarak tanımlayabileceğimiz bu söylem, bir
yandan siyasal, sosyal ve ekonomik liberalleşmeyi beraberinde getirirken, öte yandan
parçalanan üst-politik çatıyı tekrar bütünleştirmek adına yeni kimlik politikalarına sımsıkı
yapıştı. Neo-liberalizm; küreselleşme, bireyselleşme ve kimliksel parçalanma süreçleriyle eşzamanlı
olarak gündeme gelmesi ve bu olgulara sosyo-politik çözüm önerileri getirebilmedeki
esneklik ve kıvraklığıyla tartışmasız bir önem kazandı.
