There are many factors influencing leisure participation of individuals. At the same time, these factors have different significance level on the leisure preferences of individuals. Bireylerin boş zaman faaliyetlerine katılmalarını etkileyen birçok faktör bulunmaktadır. Bu faktörlerin boş zaman tercihleri üzerine etki dereceleri de bireyden bireye farklılık göstermektedir. Bu çalışmada, literatür araştırması sonucu belirlenen 45 faktörün etki derecelerinin cinsiyete göre değişimi analiz edilerek, bir grup lisans öğrencilerinin boş zaman faaliyetlerine katılmalarını en çok ve en az etkileyen faktörler belirlenmiştir.
