Abstract (2. Language): 
The aim of this study is to examine validity and reliability of the Turkish version of theFriendship Quality Scale (Thien, Razak, & Jamil, 2012). The participant of this study consisted of 272 high school students. The results of confirmatory factor analysis indicated that the 21 items and four-dimensional model (closeness, help, acceptance, and safety) was well fit (x²= 374.29, df= 179, RMSEA= .063, CFI= .92, IFI= .92). The internal consistency reliability coefficients of the scale were .75 for closeness subscale, .81 for help subscale, .77 for acceptance subscale, .82 for safety subscale, and .91 overall scale.The corrected item-total correlations ranged from .38 to .67. Results demonstrated that this scale had high validity and reliability scores.

Bu araştırmanın amacı Arkadaşlık Kalitesi Ölçeği’nin (Thien, Razak, & Jamil, 2012) Türkçe formunun geçerlik ve güvenirliğini incelemektir. Araştırma 272 lise öğrencisi üzerinde yürütülmüştür. Ölçeğin yapı geçerliği için uygulanan doğrulayıcı faktör analizinde dört boyutlu (güvenlik, yakınlık, kabul ve yardım) ve 21 maddeden oluşan modelin iyi uyum verdiği görülmüştür (x²= 374.29, sd= 179, RMSEA= .063, CFI= .92, IFI= .92). Ölçeğin iç tutarlılık güvenirlik katsayıları yakınlık alt ölçeği için .75, yardım alt ölçeği için .81 , kabul alt ölçeği için .77, güvenlik alt ölçeği için .82, ölçeğin bütünü için .91 olarak bulunmuştur. Ölçeğin düzeltilmiş madde toplam korelasyon katsayıları .38 ile .67 arasında sıralanmaktadır. Bu bulgulara göre Arkadaşlık Kalitesi Ölçeği’nin Türkçe formunun geçerli ve güvenilir bir ölçme aracı olduğu söylenebilir.
