The purpose of this research is to investigate the four leadership frames of primary school managers by their perception and whether there is any significance differences between perceptions with teachers who are working with those managers. The sample of this research which used survey model and quantitative techniques composed of 618 teachers working for central Denizli primary schools and their 26 managers.These subjects were selected by proportional cluster sampling. The data of this research was collected by administaring one instrument: “Leadership Orientation Questionnaire (LOQ)” developed by Bolman and Deal (1991). The data collected was analized by employing several statistical techniques including mean, standart deviation and Mann-Whitney U. Findings are: according to managers’ perceptions they display human resource leadership, structural leadership, political leadership and symbolic leadership respectively. A significant difference has been calculated between teacher and administrator perceptions towards human resources leadership behaviors of school administrators.

Bu çalışmanın amacı ilköğretim okulu müdürlerinin algılarına göre kendi liderlik çerçevesi kullanımlarını belirlemek ve ilköğretim okulu müdürlerinin çerçeve kullanımına ilişkin algıları ile kendi okullarındaki öğretmenlerin onların çerçeve kullanımına ilişkin algıları arasında fark olup olmadığını incelemektir. Bu amaçla iki soruya yanıt aranmıştır: 1) İlköğretim Okulu Müdürlerinin liderlik tarzlarına ilişkin algıları nedir? 2)İlköğretim Okulu müdürlerinin liderlik tarzlarına ilişkin algıları örgütsel rollere göre farklılık göstermekte midir? Tarama modeli ve nicel yöntemlerin kullanıldığı araştırmanın örneklemi, Denizli il merkezindeki ilköğretim okullarında çalışan ve oranlı küme örneklemi yoluyla seçilen 618 öğretmen ve onların 26 okul müdüründen oluşmaktadır. Araştırmanın verileri, Bolman ve Deal (1991) tarafından geliştirilen “Leadership Orientation Questionaire (LOQ)” aracılığıyla toplanmıştır. Araştırmanın alt problemlerinin çözümlenmesinde aritmetik ortalama, standart sapma ve non-parametrik testlerden Mann – Whitney U testi kullanılmıştır. İlköğretim okulu müdürlerinin kendi algılarına göre liderlik çerçeveleri sırasıyla insan kaynaklı, yapısal, politik ve sembolik liderlik olmuştur. Örgütsel rollere göre insan kaynaklı liderlik boyutuna ilişkin öğretmen ve müdürlerin algıları arasında anlamlı bir fark çıkmıştır.
