Abstract (2. Language): 
Each year hundred thousand of students leave their countries in order to continue their education abroad. The majority of these student are coming from less developed and developing countries and intending to complete their education at the OECD members countries. Today, %94 of these students study in OECD countries. Among OECD countries, there is great flux toward the Western Europe and especially to the United States. The universities are main dynamics of globalization. Besides these global flux produce grate contributtion to countries national income. From these market Countries such as Australia gains 18 billion US Dollars annually. On the contrary Turkey doest’t show a performance compare to its important geo-strategic location. In this article we try to examine Turkey’s place in the global education market.

Her yıl yüz binlerce öğrenci yurt dışında eğitimini sürdürmek amacıyla ülkesinden ayrılmaktadır. Bu öğrencilerin en belirgin özelliği az gelişmiş ve kalkınmakta olan ülkelerden, OECD üyesi ülkelere doğru hareket edip bu ülkelerde eğitimlerini tamamlamak arzularıdır. Bugün dünyada sınır ötesi eğitimini sürdüren öğrencilerin %94’ü OECD ülkelerinde kayıtlıdır. Öte yandan OECD üyesi ülkeler arasında da, özellikle Batı Avrupa ülkeleri ve tabii ABD’ye doğru çok ciddi bir öğrenci hareketliliği gözlemlenmektedir. Bu öğrenci akışı globalleşmenin temel dinamiği işlevini de görmektedir. Üstelik bu global hareketlilik ülkelerin milli gelirine büyük bir katkı sağlamaktadır. Bu global pazardan Avustralya gibi bir ülke yılda 18 milyar dolar para kazanırken, Türkiye bu alanda jeostratejik konumuna uygun bir varlık gösteremiyor. Bu çalışmada Türkiye’nin global eğitim pazarındaki yeri incelenecektir.
