THE EFFECTS OF WORK-FAMILY CONFLICT AND FAMILYWORK CONFLICT ON EMPLOYEE’ S JOB AND LIFE SATISFACTION IN ORGANIZATIONS

In recent years, work-family conflict and family work conflict which have been observed to affect indivudials’ social and work life have became a very important research domain. In this study, relationship among work-family conflict, family-work conflict, life satisfaction and job satisfaction were examined and were determined how work-family conflict and family-work conflict affected life satisfaction and job satisfaction by developed/identified hypotheses. According to result of survey that was conduct in Kayseri, work-family conflict and family-work conflict affect life satisfaction in a negative way and there is a negative reletaionship among these variables. At the same time, work family conflict affects job satisfaction negatively but familywork conflict affects job satisfaction significantly. Also, positive relationship were found between work-family conflict and familiy-work conflict. Similarly, there is a positive correlation between life satisfaction and job satisfaction.

Son yıllarda önemli bir arastırma alanı haline gelen is-aile ve aile-is çatısmaları bireylerin sosyal ve is yasamlarını etkiledigi gözlemlenmektedir. Bu etkilerin neler oldugu çesitli arastırmalarla ortaya konulmaktadır. Bu çalısmada, is-aile çatısması, aile-is çatısması, yasam tatmini ve is tatmini arasındaki iliskiler ele alınmıs ve is-aile ve aile-is çatısmasının is ve yasam tatmini üzerindeki etkileri gelistirilen hipotezler yardımıyla belirlenmistir. Kayseri’de yapılan arastırma sonuçlarına göre is-aile ve aile-is çatısmalarının yasam tatminlerini olumsuz etkiledigi ve aralarındaki iliskinin negatif yönlü oldugu bulunmustur. s-aile çatısmasının is tatminini olumsuz etkiledigi ancak aile-is çatısmasının is tatminini anlamlı bir sekilde etkilemedigi sonucu elde edilmistir. Çalısmada ayrıca, is-aile çatısması ile aile-is çatısması arasında pozitif yönlü bir iliski ve benzer sekilde yasam tatmini ile is tatmini arasında da pozitif yönlü bir iliski bulunmustur.
