Abstract (2. Language):
Our country has a profoundly flora because of reasons such as its physical
structure. Historical progressing and so on. Our flora has above 8500 flowering
plant species and when subspecies and varieties add previous quantity. That exceed
10000. The number of 3090 of those are endemic too. The endemic plants are
plants having a restricted spreading area.
This study was done for defining endemics plants and investigated definition
of endemic, distribution of those, classification of endemic plants and distribution
of those dependent with altitude. İt was given the endemic plant throughout world
and their endemism proportions, the geographic distribution of endemic plants in
our country in respect of phytogeografic regions. It was compared the numbers of
endemic species of some families and genuses. Astraceae is a familia having the
most endemic species and Astragalus is a genus having the most endemic plant
species. The most endemic plants in our country have been found in the
Mediterranean. The East Anatolia zone of our country has 2nd grade in term of the
number of its endemic plants.

Ülkemiz coğrafik konumu, fiziki yapısı tarihsel gelişimi vb. nedenlerden dolayı son
derece zengin bir floraya sahiptir. Floramız 8500 ün üzerinde çiçekli bitki türüne sahip olup
alttür ve varyetelerinde ilavesiyle bu rakam 10000’i aşmaktadır. Bu türlerin de 3090ı
endemiktir. Endemik bitkiler sınırlı yayılış alanına sahip bitkilerdir.
Bu çalışmada endemik bitkilerin tanımlaması yapılmış olup endemizm nedir,
endemik bitkilerin yayılışları, endemik bitkilerin sınıflandırılması ve yüksekliğe bağlı
dağılımları araştırılmıştır. Dünyadaki endemik bitkiler ve endemizm oranları, ülkemizde
bulunan endemik bitkilerin fitocoğrafik bölgelere göre dağılımları verilmiştir. Bazı familya
ve cinslerin endemik tür sayıları karşılaştırılmıştır. En fazla endemik bitki türü barındıran
familya Asteraceae ve en fazla endemik türü olan cins Astragalus’tur. Yurdumuzda en fazla
endemik bitki Akdeniz bölgesinde mevcuttur. Doğu Anadolu Bölgesi endemik bitki sayısı
bakımından 2. sırada yer almaktadır.
