The horseshoe kidney is the fusion abnormality of kidney, occuring in approximately 2.5 % of the general population. This anomaly is accompained by a high rate of ureteropelvic junction obstruction. Herein, we present a horseshoe kidney accompained by ureteropelvic junction obstruction, in a 50-year-old man. The purpose of this report was to evaluate the use of multi-detector row computed tomography scan to obtain three-dimensional images of the pelvicaliceal system and vascular structures when considering endopyelotomy as a treatment option.

Atnalı böbrek, genel populasyonda yaklaşık % 2.5 oranında görülen böbreğin bir füzyon anomalisidir. Atnalı böbrek anomalisine yüksek oranda üreteropelvik bileşke obstrüksiyonu eşlik eder. Bu yazıda, elli yaşındaki bir erkek hastada üreteropelvik bileşke obstrüksiyonunun eşlik ettiği bir atnalı böbrek olgusunu sunmaktayız. Tedavi seçeneği olarak endopyelotomi düşünüldüğünde, pelvikalisiyel sistem ve vasküler yapıların üç boyutlu görüntülerinin oluşturulmasında çok detektörlü sıralı bilgisayarlı tomografinin yararını göstermeyi amaçladık.
