In this study, one hundred and forty-eightChalcalburnus mossulensis (Heckel, 1843)
samples were caught monthly from Keban Dam Lake between January 1997-December
1998 and taken to the Laboratory immediately. Blood samples were taken from their
heart, after haematologic analysis total length and weight were measured; sex of fish
and age were determined from the scales. Total amount of erythrocytes, leucocytes,
thrombosits, hemoglobin and hematokrit and parameters of MCV, MCH MCHC were
investigated from blood samples. The formula of leukocyte was examined from blood
prepared of each sample. The obtained blood parameters were examined according to
age, length and weight groups, sex of fish, month and season

Bu çalışmada, Keban Baraj Gölü’nde yaşayan Chalcalburnus mossulensis
populasyonuna ait 148 adet balık örneği Ocak 1997- Aralık 1998 tarihleri arasında
aylık periyotlar halinde yakalanarak laboratuvara canlıolarak getirilmişlerdir.
Hematolojik analizler yapıldıktan sonra total boy ve ağırlık ölçülmüş; eşey tayini ve
pullardan yaştayini yapılmıştır. Alınan kan örneklerinden total eritrosit, total lökosit,
total trombosit, hemoglobin miktarı, hematokrit değer, MCV, MCH, MCHC kan
değerleri ve her bir kan örneğinden hazırlanan kan frotilerinden ise lökosit formülleri
tespit edilmiştir. Elde edilen kan parametrelerinin yaş, uzunluk ve ağırlık grupları, eşey,
ay ve mevsimlere göre dağılımlarıbelirlenmiştir.
