Abstract (2. Language):
This study will be about Dr.Halil Fikret Kanad's life, who, as our first educator, has
achieved a doctorate in educational sciences, and his views in education and about
sections of his study ‘Geography Teaching Methods‘ that was written in Azerbaycan,
released in Turkey but not translated in to todays' Turkish. Kanad who has achieved his
doctorate in Germany,is the founder of he Gazi Educational İnstitute and with his
chairmanship and his ideas for over 20 years he has brought a great contribution to
Turkish Education and to it's students.

Bu çalışmada eğitim bilimleri (pedagoji) alanında doktora yapan ilk eğitimcimiz olan
Dr. Halil Fikret Kanad’ın hayatıve eğitimle ilgili görüşleri ile onun Azerbaycan’da
yazıp Türkiye’de basılan fakat günümüz Türkçesine çevrilmeyen “Coğrafyanın Tedris
Usulü” adlıyapıtından bölümler yer almaktadır. Doktora eğitimini Almanya’da yapan
Kanad, Gazi Eğitim Enstitüsünün kuruculuğunu ve 20 yıldan fazla başkanlığınıyaparak
Türk eğitimine hem görüşleri hem de yetiştirdiği öğrencilerle büyük katkıyapmıştır.
