Abstract (2. Language):
In this study, following aspects related to the twenty-three Anatolian Teacher Training High School teachers were examined: How much they are familiar with the new teaching approaches and techniques, their views related to the laboratory usage and the cognitive level of the questions they prepared to test the understanding of the students. For the study, the case study method which is one of the descriptive investigation methods was used. The data were gained by examining the teachers’ level of familiarity with the new teaching approaches and techniques, Likert scales which reveal their views about the usage of laboratory and the questions related to the topic that the teachers choose to test the understanding of the students. With the in-service training, the study results proved that there occurred meaningful changes in teacher’s views about the new teaching approaches and laboratory usage and in question levels which the teachers prepared to test the understanding of the students.
