Abstract (2. Language):
Musical instrument education is the most essential and important component of music education
in instutions. The violin’s touching sound, wide area of utilization in music education and rich
repertoire make violin education have an important function in instrument education. Therefore,
in this study, the spicatto technique – being one of the important techniques in violin – is
addressed and utilization of Turkish folk tunes in teaching spiccato technique in violin is
investigated. Among a large spectrum of folk tunes, three which are considered convenient for
teaching spiccato technique are selected as sample of this study.

Müzik eğitimi veren kurumlardaki eğitimin en temel ve en önemli boyutunu çalgı eğitimi ve
öğretimi oluşturmaktadır. Keman eğitimi ise kemanın etkili sesi, geniş kullanım alanı, zengin
repertuarı ve her türlü müzik eğitiminde kullanılabilmesi özelliğiyle, çalgı eğitimi içerisinde
önemli bir işleve sahiptir. İşte bu öneminden dolayı bu çalışmada keman eğitiminin önemli bir
boyutunu oluşturan yay tekniklerinden sipikato çalma tekniği ele alınmış ve bu tekniğin
öğretilmesinde Türk halk ezgilerinin kullanılma yöntemleri araştırılmıştır. Bunun için çok sayıda
halk ezgisi incelenmiş ve sipikato tekniğine uygun olduğu düşünülen iki ezgi örneklem grubu
olarak seçilmiştir
