Abstract (2. Language):
This study was conducted to determine the effects of different management methods on the potato yield and factors affecting potato yields .The competation experiment was performed with Marfona potato variety in alluvial soil group commonly infested by Cirsium arvense (L.) Scop.. Dactylis glomerata L.. Convolvulus arvensis L.. Chenopodium album L. weeds. Potatos were hold without weed and with weed in 10. 20. 30. 40, 80 days periods during the growing period after the planting. The possibilities of most effective control measures were also studied with various control combinations, for example Metribuzin and mecaiucal control combinations. So that, the time that weed can live together potato in the same area without affecting its production and the period of being without weed to obtain the most production w ere determined In addition, the adaptation between the periods with weed and without weed and the production, tuber diameter, mother branch number and plant height was researched. According to the results received, the critical period was determined as 10-41) days after emergency, so from the production increase point of view, the weed control program for the region may not be very effective as long as it is not applied in these periods after emergency.

Bu çalışma. Gaziosmanpaşa Üniversitesi Araştırma Çiftliğinde 2001 yılında patateste yabancı otlara karşı uygulanan farklı mücadele yontenuerinin verime ve verim unsurlarına etkilerini belirlemek amacıyla yapılmıştır. Rekabet denemesi alüviyal toprak grubunda Marfona patates çeşidinde Cirsium an>ense (L.) Scop., Dactylis glomerata L., Convolvulus ar\>ensis L., Chenopodium album L. yabancı ot türlerinin hakim olduğu bir arazide yürütülmüştür. Patatesler dikimden itibaren gelişme periyodu içerisinde 10. 20. 30. 40. 80 gün (hasat) otlu ve otsuz tıfiulmnşlardır. Ayrıca Metribuzin herbisiti ile mekanik kontrol kombine edilerek en iyi mücadele yöntemide araştırılmıştır. Böylece en fazla ürün elde edilmesi için gerekli olan otsuz kalma periyodu ve yabana otların ürünü Bfldtemeden patates içerisinde ne kadar süre beraber kalabilecekleri saptanmıştır. Ayrıca otlu-otsuz gün periyoâara ile bitki boyu. aaa dal sayısı, yumru çapı ve verim arasındaki uyumda araştınlnıışör. Ortaya çıkan sonuçlara göre, yabana otlarla mücadelede kritik periyot çıkıştan sonraki 10-40. günler arasında olduğubıdunmuşto. Dolayısıyla patateste çıkıştan itibaren, bu süreler dışında yapılan mücadelenin verim artışı açsından önemli etkisinin olmayacağı belirlenmiştir.
