The aim of this study was to present preliminary resul ts of our experience about laparoscopic cholecystectomy through single intraumbilical incision. Five patients who underwent cholecystectomy with the method of single intraumbilical incision at the Department of General Surgery of Gulhane Military Medical Faculty Haydarpaşa Teaching Hospital between August 2009 and November 2009 were evaluated regarding age, gender, body mass index, amount of hemorrhage, rate of conversion to conventional laparoscopic surgery, duration of operation, duration of hospitalization and complications. There were no intraoperative or early postoperative complications and no conversion to conventional laparoscopic surgery. Mean amount of hemorrhage was less than 50 cc, mean duration of operation was 122.6 minutes, and mean duration of hospitalization was 1.2 day. The preliminary results of our experience about single incision laparoscopic surgery show this method is a good alternative to conventional laparoscopic surgery with better cosmetic results.

Bu çalışmanın amacı göbek içi ne uygulanan tek bir kesiden yapılmış laparoskopik kolesistektomi deneyimimizin erken sonuçlarını sunmaktır. GATF Haydarpaşa Eğitim Hastanesi Genel Cerrahi Servisinde Ağustos 2009 ile Kasım 2009 arasında tek kesiden laparoskopik kolesistektomi uygulanan beş hasta yaş, cinsiyet, vücut kitle indeksi, kanama miktarı, konvansiyonel laparoskopik yönteme geçiş, ameliyat süresi, hastanede kalış süreleri ve komplikasyonlar yönünden değerlendirildi. Hastalarda intraoperatif veya erken postoperatif komplikasyon ve konvansiyonel laparoskopik yönteme geçiş olmadı. Ortalama kanama miktarı 50 cc’den az, ortalama ameliyat süresi 122.6 dakika, ortalama hastanede kalış süresi 1.2 gündü. Tek kesiden laparoskopik kolesistektomi deneyimimizin erken sonuçları bu tekniğin daha iyi kozmetik sonuçlarla konvansiyonel laparoskopik cerrahiye iyi bir alternatif olduğunu göstermektedir.
