Abstract (2. Language):
In this study, the influence of socio-economic, political and cultural factors which are accepted as the determining factors for the percentage of women representatives in national parliaments are analyzed for OECD countries. In this context, according to the results of the regression analysis done on the socio¬economic factors, it was determined that the rate of women participating in the labor force and the rate of urbanization have a positive effect while the rate of women holding a bachelor's degree have a negative one on the percentage of women representatives. In addition, the number of political parties in parliament that is one of the political factors and the dominant religion in the OECD countries (Christianity) that is one of the cultural factors have positive effect on the percentage of women representatives.
