Abstract (2. Language):
cing factor in strength by two experinmental approaches.
With the medium duration experiment; 6 gymnasts and 11 control (non-gymnasts) group were measured on force platform for 7 maximal vertical jumps. After the 3 rd jump, the subjects were asked to sit on a revolving chair and were spinned with high speed in order to upset the balance of the vestibular system. The remaining jumps were conducted at 4, 10,20 and 60 second intervals.
The results showed that on the force platform, gymnasts, required more strength then the non-gymnasts, but the sudden strength and the flight time did not show any difference. Gymnasts showed more economical use of their muscles during the takeoff.
After the spin, while the gymnasts showed some reduction, non-gymnasts showed more dramatic reduction in their sudden strength level.
