Abstract (2. Language):
In this study, extracellular and total blood lactate differences were investigated on various levels in twelve male track and field athletes. Significant differences had been found on each level (p<0.0001 andp<0.0005). It was shown that differences between extracellular lactate and total blood lactate levels rose by the increase in extracellular lactate levels. Thus, there was a significant difference between extracellular lactate and total blood lactate values when the lactic acid levels were at the maximum. After running twenty minutes at the speed of "4 mM/L lactate threshold" determined by the extracellular lactate analysis, average extracellular lactate level was 7.375 mM/L (total blood lactate: 9.35 mM/L). These results were not in the range of steady state limits. For that reason extracellular lactate analyzes are not appropiate for the determination of 4 mM/L lactate threshold. On the other hand, after completing this process of twenty minutes at the speed of 4 mM/L lactate threshold, determined by the analysis of total blood lactate, average total blood lactate level was 3.967 mM/L (extracellular lactate: 3.075 mM/L) and these results were in the range of steady state levels. Therefore, it was concluded that, 4mM/L lactate threshold should be determined by analysing total blood lactate.
Abstract (Original Language):
Bu değerler steady state değerlerine uygundur. Bundan dolayı, 4 mM/L laktat eşiği TKL ile tesbit edilmelidir
