Journal Name:

Publication Year:

Abstract (2. Language):
The purpose of this study was to determine the reliability of the all performance parameters of the Wingate Anaerobic Power Test(WAn) and maximal heart rate(maxHR) as an indicator of metabolic change. 15 mal e physical education students(Age: 24.0~1.89 years; weight: 73.64~7.52 kg; height: 175.52~5.28 cm) performed the WAn test twice with seven days in between. Reliability coefficientR) of the measured parameters was determined by intraclass correlation technique. For absolute parameters reliability coefficients were found: R= 0.955 for the maximal anaerobic power(MAP), R=0.941 for the minimum power(MinP), R= 0.904 for the maximal anaerobic capacity(MAC), R=0.917 for the power drop(PD), R=0.889 for the fatigue index(FI), R= 0.968 for the MaxHR. For relative values these reliability coefficients were higher for MAP and PD(R= 0.997; R= 0.920 respectively) but were lower for MinP and MAC [R= 0.889; R= 0.873 respectively). In conclusion, a high degree of reliability was found for all measured parameters of the WAn test performed by physical education students.
