Abstract (2. Language):
This study is to aim to determine that the sport institution reflects the sexual differences seeking on the photographs of the newspapers and the magazines. The sample has been selected for a magazine, a sport newspaper and three daily newspapers. The news have been classified as national, foreign, economics, art-culture, article, sport and others (interwievs etc.). Photographs have been discriminated as male-female and both of them too. In these news, it seems that males have important duties in the society. Reflecting the females as subordinate status and sex objects males have been represented as the powerful and the active positions. The sport news photographs also describe the same values about male and female.

Bu çalışma, spor kurumunun cinsiyet ayrımını yansıttığını gazete ve dergilerin haber fotoğraflarına dayanarak saptamayı amaçlamaktadır. Bu nedenle ör-neklem; 3 günlük gazete, 1 dergi ve 1 spor gazetesinden oluşmaktadır. Haberler: iç, dış, ekonomi, makale, spor, sanat-kültür ve diğer haberler olarak sınıflanırken, fotoğraflar; kadın-erkek ve her ikisi olarak ayrılmıştır. Araştırma sonucunda, erkeğin toplumda önemli bir statüye sahip olduğu gözlenmiştir. Kadınlar ise, daha çok ikinci planda ve pasif bir konumda görülmektedir. Spor haber fotoğraflarında da kadın ve erkek aynı değerlerle tanımlanmaktadır
