Calculation of resonance frequencies of a six-wheeled vehicle has been proposed in this work by means of computational and experimental methods. In modelling vehicle, elastic body and rigid body tecniques were used in computational methods. Therefore a three – dimensional finite element model was generated using beam elements and shell elements. The components of the experiment vehicle such as gas tank, main engine etc. have been modelled as lumped masses on original location at experiment vehicle. The other approache in modelling of vehicle is discrete mass model as rigid body. Tires were modelled as spring and dashpot elements. Impulse excitation using a hammer as well as the excitation with an electrodynamic shaker driven by a sinusoidal signal were used to measure the frequency response of the system. Vibration measurements were taken from several places (driver seat location etc.) by B&K 2515 vibration analyser. Finally, the results obtained from experiment were compared with the calculated results and a good agreement between these results were obtained. Dynamic absorber was applied to vehicle for removing the hopping frequency in 5-7 Hz.

Literatürde genel olarak dört tekerlekli taşıtların dinamik durumları analitik ve deneysel olarak incelenmektedir. Bu yöntemler Altı tekerleğinden tahrik edilen (6x6) taşıta uygulanmıştır. Taşıtların dinamik modellenmesinde elastik gövde ve rijit gövde modelleme yaklaşımı kullanılmıştır. Elastik gövde yaklaşımında üç boyutlu model kabuk ve çubuk elemanlar kullanılarak oluşturulmuştur. Taşıt üzerindeki parçalar kütle olarak, ağırlık merkezini verecek şekilde uygun yerlere konulmuştur. Rijit gövdeli model yaklaşımında "Tam Taşıt" esas alınarak matematik modellemeler gerçekleştirilmiştir. Denklemlerde, akslar ve gövde rijit sistem üç serbestlik dereceli olarak ve tekerleklerin de sönümü gözönüne alınmıştır. Taşıt modelinin doğal frekansları için MATLAB programıyla çözüm elde edilmiştir. Deneysel olarak taşıt darbe yöntemi ve sinüs-süpürme yöntemi kullanılarak testler yapılmıştır. B&K 2515 Vibration Analyser cihazıyla ölçümler gerçekleştirilmiştir. Çalışmalardan elde edilen sonuçlar karşılaştırılmıştır. Düşey yönde oluşan rijit modu sönümleyecek şekilde dinamik absorber uygulaması yapılmıştır.
