Serologic diagnosis of mycobacterial infections : antigen 60, properties and clinical using

Abstract (2. Language):
The conventional methods for the laboratory diagnosis of tuberculosis and other mycobacterial diseases-are lime consuming and beyond the scope of most of the small and medium-sized hospital facilities. There/ore, there has been considerable interest in the development of a serological method for the detection of antibodies against myobacteria. The humoral immune response occuring during mycobacterial infections can he detected with some serological tests (R.I.A. ELISA. latex agglutination, etc). In this paper, humoral immunity changes in tuberculosis and serological diagnostic procedures are reviewed. /Journal of Turgut Özal Medical Center I (4) 324-333.1994/
Abstract (Original Language):
Son zamanlarda insidansındaki artış eğilimi ile dikkatleri yeniden içerine çeken tüberkülozun erken ve doğru tanısı önemli hır husustur. Hu nedenle, klasik tanı yöntemlerinin dışında, spesifik, hızlı, pratik ve güvenilir yeni tanı yöntemleri üzerinde çalışılmaktadır. immünolojideki gelişmeler hu konuda önemli ilerlemeler sağlamıştır. Mikohakterilerın çeşitli komponentlerınden elde edilen çeşitli antijenler kullanılarak, bunlara karşı oluşan hücresel ve humoral ımmün cevaplar tespit edilmekte, bunların klinik bulgularla birlikte değerlendirilmesi suretiyle hızlı ve doğru tanı koyma imkanları artırılmaktadır. Hu derlemede, tüberkülozda oluşan humoral immünıte değişiklikleri ve bunların tanı amacıyla kullanılması üzerinde durulmakta, hu konudaki son gelişmeler gözden geçirilmektedir. /Turgut Özal Tıp Merkezi Dergisi l(4l:324-333.1994j
