Abstract (2. Language):
Pathologies related to gallbladder emptying are frequently seen in patients with cholelithiasis. Prostaglandins are among the important mediators of gallbladder contractility and gallstone formation. The aim of the study was to investigate the influence of the indomethacin on the volume and contractility of gallbladder in patients with cholelithiasis. Twelve patients with cholelithiasis were evaluated before and after the use of indomethacin. Prior to calculations of gallbladder motility, 100 mg. oral indomethacin was given. Fasting gallbladder volume, residual volume and ejection fractions were recorded. The parameters before and after ndomethac n use were compared. In conclusion, there was no influence of indomethacin on fasting gallbladder volume, residual volume and gallbladder contractility.
Abstract (Original Language):
Kolelitiasisli hastalarda safra kesesi boşalması ile ilgili patolojiler sıklıkla görülmektedir. Prostaglandinler safra kesesi kontraktilitesini ve safra taşı oluşmasını etkileyen önemli mediatörlerdendir. Bu çalışmanın amacı kolelitiasisli hastalarda indometasin kullanımının safra kesesi volümü ve kontraktilitesine etkisini ortaya koymaktır. Çalışmaya alınan 12 olgudan oluşan kolelitiasisli hasta grubu indometasin öncesinde ve indometasin kullanırken olmak üzere iki ayrı seansta değerlendirildi. Hastalara ölçümlerden önce iki kez 100 mg. oral indometasin uygulandı. Hastaların açlık kese volümü, rezidüel volüm ve ejeksiyon fraksiyonu kayded ld . Çalışmada ele alınan parametreler ndometas n önces ve sonrası karş laştırıldı. Çalışma sonucunda ndometas n kullanımının ultrasonografi ile değerlendirilen açlık safra kesesi volümü, rezidüel volüm ve safra kesesi kontraktilitesine etkisi olmadığı görüldü.
