Abstract (2. Language):
Objective: This study aims to research the relation between age and l'/p'/d peroxidation products (LPP) such as malond'/aldehyde (MDA) and conjugated diene (CD). Method: Total of 195 volunteers were divided /nto seven groups of decades (19 years o'd'or'younger,'20-29'years'o'd,'30-39'years'o'd,'40-49'years'o'd,'50-59'years'o'd,'60-69 years old and 70 years old or older). MDA and CD levels of the plasma samples were determined by the methods of tiobarb'/turic ac/d (TBA) and Buege, respectively. Findings: MDA values showeds'/gn'/f/cant increases in each decade up to 50 years old and in the decade of 60-69 years old (p<0.05). Whereas CD levels showed a continuous and s'/gn'/f/cant increase in each decade successively (p<0.05). There was a strong positive correlation between MDA and CD and between age and both MDA and CD. However, /t /s remarkable that th/s l'/near positive correlation was not seen /n the group of 70 years old or more. Results: Plasma MDA and CD levels increase w/th age. For th/s reason, as the age increases, /t w'/ll be useful to add antioxidants to daily diet and to restrict calories taken / n order to help antioxidant defense of the body.
Abstract (Original Language):
Amaç: Bu çalışma, malondialdehit (MDA) ve konjuge d/en (CD) gibi lipit peroksidasyon (LPO) ürün/erinin yaş i/e '/l'/şk/s'/n'/ araştırmayı amaçlar. Yöntem: Toplam 195 gönüllü, onarlı yaş gruplarına göre yed/ gruba (19 yaş ve altı, 20-29 yaş, 30-39 yaş, 40-49 yaş, 50-59 yaş, 60-69 yaş, ve 70 ve üzen yaş) ayrıldı. Gönüllülerin plazma örneklerinde MDA ve CD düzeyleri, tiobarbitürik asit (TBA) ve Buege yöntemleri i/e saptandı. Bulgular: MDA değerleri 50 yaşa kadar her on yaşta anlamlı artış göstermekte; ikinci önemi/ artışını /se 60-69 yaş grubunda göstermektedir (P<0.05). CD düzeylerinde /se tüm dekatlarda b/r önceki dekada göre anlamlı artış bulundu (P<0.05). MDA ve CD kendi aralarında ve yaş i/e kuvveti/' poz/'tif korelasyona sahipti. 70 yaş ve üzerinde MDA ve CD düzey/er/n/n yaş ı/e olan doğrusal '/l'/şk/s'/n'/n bozulması dikkat çekti. Sonuç: Plazma MDA ve CD düzeyleri yaşla birlikte artmaktadır. Bu neden/e yaş iler/edikçe ant/oks/dan savunmaya yardımcı olmak amacıyla günlük d/yete antiöksidan ek/enmesi ve kalori kısıtlaması yararlı olur.
