Abstract (2. Language):
Due to overuse of antibiotics in hospitals, there has been increased bacterial resistance to antibiotics. This study was performed to establish the degree of antimicrobial resistance to various broa d spectrum agents used to treat infections caused by Gram negative bacilli. During a four month period, the sensitivities to antibiotics of 152 Gram negative bacilli collected from inpatients were detected by disk diffusion method. Among all microorganisms tested, the percentages of resistant strains were 53 for GN, 27 for AK, 23 for ISP, 58 for CTX, 59 for CRO, 34 for CAZ, 27 for CEF, 3 for IMP, 3 for MEM, 39 for PTZ, 56 for AMC, 46 for TIM and 54 for SAM.
Abstract (Original Language):
Hastanelerde antibiyotiklerin aşırı kullanılmasına bağlı olarak bakteriyel direnç artmaktadır. Bu çalışma, Gram negatif basillerin neden olduğu infeksiyonların tedavisinde kullanılan geniş spektrumlu ajanlara karşı gelişen antimikrobiyal direnci saptamak amacıyla yapıldı. Dört aylık sürede yatan hastalardan izole edilen 152 Gram negatif basilin antibiyotiklere duyarlılıkları disk difüzyon yöntemi ile belirlendi. Test edilen 152 Gram negatif basilin antibiyotiklere direnç oranları GN için % 53, AK için % 27, ISP i çin % 23, CTX için % 58, CRO için % 59, CAZ için % 34, CEF için % 27, IMP için % 3, MEM için % 3, PTZ için % 39, AMC % 56, TIM için % 46 ve SAM için % 54 olarak bulundu.
