Risks in supply chain can be categorized into supplier risk, operational risk, security risk and environmental risk. There is a little work in the literature regarding the dimensions of these risks and the difference between the perceived level of risks and their impact on performance. Also none of studies was captured the whole dimensions of the supply chain risk. The objective of study to fill this gap in the literature. For this study, data was collected from 106 automotive firms operated in TAYSAD (Association of Automotive Parts and Components Manufacturers) and NOSAB (Nilüfer Organized Industrial Zone). Since the data did not normally distributed and had no homogenous variance, a nonparametric test which is dependent samples Wilcoxon test, was employed. Results show that there is a significant difference between the level perceived supplier, operational, security and environmental risks and their impact on firm performance. The findings of this study will guide firms in supply chain risk management.-

Tedarik zincirindeki firmaların karşılaştıkları riskler tedarik riski, operasyonel risk, güvenlik riski ve çevresel risk olarak sınıflandırılabilmektedir. Bu risklerin nelerden oluştuğu ve algılanan risklerin işletme performansı üzerindeki etkileri konusunda literatürde az sayıda ampirik çalışma bulunmakta olup bu çalışmaların hiçbirisinde tedarik zinciri riskleri tüm boyutları ile ele alınmamıştır. Bu çalışmanın amacı literatüre bu açıdan bir katkı sağlamaktır. Bu çalışma için TAYSAD (Taşıt Araçları Yan Sanayiciler Derneği) ve NOSAB’da (Nilüfer Organize Sanayi Bölgesi) faaliyet gösteren 106 otomotiv işletmesinden kolayda örnekleme yöntemiyle yüz yüze görüşülerek veri toplanmıştır. Verilerin normallik ve varyans homojenlik testine uymadığı görüldüğünden, analiz için nonparametrik test olan ilişki-bağımlı II. Grup Wilcoxon eşleştirilmiş testi kullanılmıştır. Bu test sonucunda algılanan riskler ile performans arasında birçok risk kategorisi için büyük oranda farklılık bulunduğu görülmüştür. Çalışmanın, tedarik zinciri riskini yönetme sürecindeki firmalara yol gösterici olacağı düşünülmektedir.
