Abstract (2. Language):
This paper tries to identify trusting and reciprocating behavior in Turkish society. A primary goal of this research is to extend past work on trust and reciprocity by comparing the results of the experiment of Turkish society with other societies. We used the trust game of Berg et al. (1995) as our experimental design. The results of the experiment were similar to literature since there exists a relationship between trust and trustworthiness. But the observed decisions suggest that trust level of Turkish people is below the international average.
