Dissected aortic aneurysm m ay be a subject of medicolegal investİgation for misdiagnosis because of the short interval between clinical manifestation and death. This case has been diagnosed as renal colic and treatment ar-ranged according to this misdiagnosis. He had died short time after manifcsfalion of symptoms. A feed back of autospy fınding will be important for accurate clinical diagnosis

Dissekan aort anevrizması ruptürüne bağlı ölüm olguları, semptomların başlangıcı ile ölüm arasında geçen sürenin kısa olması, antemortem tanının sıklıkla konulamaması, ani ve beklenmedik ölümler kapsamına girmesi nedeniyle adli tıp açısından önemlidir. İrdelenen olgu, antemortem renal koIİk ön tanısı ile tedavisi düzenlenmiş ve semptomların başlamasından kısa süre sonra ölmüştür. Otopsi bulguları ve literatür gözden geçirilerek olgu özellikleri sunulmuştur. Bu tür olgularda antemortem klinik özelliklerin daha sağlıklı değerlendirilebilmesi için postmortem incelemelerin sonuçlarının geri bildiriminin Önemli olduğu kanısına varılmıştır.
