develops through Larrey's space. Three patients were operated with Morgagni hernia at our clinic. Ali of these patients were male and their mean age was 25. Their hernia were at the right side in ali cases. At two of tho-se three potients treatment was performed according to false diagnosİs preoperatively. Ali of the patients were diagnosed by computed tomography, and abdominal approach was performed. In the first patient ectopic Üver lobe with the size of 3x1.5 cm, small bowel, omentum; in the second patient small bowel, omentum and İn the third patient ileoaecal valve, appendix, transverse colon were found inside the hernia sac at operatİon. Ectopic liver lobe was excised and other organs were placed inside the abdomen. Diaphragmatic defects were repaired. When it is diagnosed as Morgagni hernia preoperatively, it was suggested that abdominal approach was the best chotce.

Morgagni hernisi (parasternal hernİ) Larrey aralığında gelişen ve nadir görülen bir kongenİtal diafragmatik herni türüdür. Kliniğimizde Morgagni hernilİ 3 hasta öpere edildi. Yaş ortalaması 25.3 olan hastaların üçü de erkek olup, diafragma defekti hepsinde sağ taraftaydı. Üç hastanın ikisi daha önce perikardiyal sıvı ve infiltrasyon gibi yanlış tanılar nedeniyle tedavi altına alınmışlardı. Hastaların biri daha önce perİkardial sıvı ve kardiyomegali; diğeri de sağ alt lobda infiltrasyon öntanıları ile tedavi altına alınmıştı. Olguların üçünde de tanı toraks tomografisi İle konuldu. Hastaların tümüne abdominal girişim uygulandı. Operasyonda fıtık kesesi içinde birinci olguda 3x1.5 cm boyutlarına ektopik karaciğer lobu, ince barsak, omentum; ikinci olguda ince barsak ve omentum; üçüncü olguda ise ilcoçekal velv, apendiks, transvers kolon ve ileum saptandı. Ektopik karaciğer lobu eksize edildi, diğer organlar batma gönderildi ve diafrogma defektleri tamir edildi. Preoperatif olarak Morgagni hernisi tanısı konulan olgularda balından girişin en uygun yol olduğu kanısındayız.
