Insulin resistance and alteratİons in body composition in patients with hypeıprolactinemia. In this study, we invcstigated the insülin resistance and alterations İn thc body composition of patients with hyperprolactinemia. We first measured the body fat, water and fat-free mass(LBM) composition of îhe paüent group. We then measured fasting serum glucose, insülin and C-peptid concentrations and calculated HOMA and insulin/glucose ratios(IGR). We found higher le-vels of insülin,

Bu çalışmada hiperprolaktincmili hastalarda insülin rezistansı ve vücut kompozisyonunda oluşan değişikliklerin araştırılması planlandı. Bu amaçla değişik nedenlerle oluşan hipcrprolakti-nemi tanısıyla takip edilen hastalarda bioelekîrik impedans ile vücut yağ, su ve yağsız vücut kitlesi tayin edildi. Açlık kanında giukoz, İnsüiİn ve C-peptid Ölçülerek HOMA ve insülin/glu-koz mol oranı (IGR) hesaplandı. Hipcrprolaktinemili hastalarda insülin direncini gösteren bazal insülin, HOMA, IGR değerlerinde ve yağsız vücut kiilesi(LBM) ile vücut su kitlesinde artma olduğu görüldü.
