Abstract (2. Language):
Anticardiolipin Antibodies in the Patients with Liver Cirrhosis. Antieardiolipin antibodies (ACA) have becn reported in numcrcous conditions apart from primary antihospholipid syndrome. In this study, we searehed presence of ACA in 25 cirrhotic patients. ACA levels of cİrrhotİc patients wcrc significantly highcr than controls. Number of thc patients who have high ACA IgG and IgM levels (at least +2 SD) were higher than controls. Tlıerc was no corre-lation betvvccn ACA levels and Child stages of thc ciırhoüc patients. We foutıd a poskive cor-relalion betwecn ACA and gammaglobulin levels. In conelusion, ACA levels have becn inere -ased in chxhotic patients, but this seems not to be related with stage and complİcations of cirrhosis. High ACA levels might be refleeting hypergammaglobulinemia seen in cirrhotic patients.
