Darier’s disease (DD) is a rare, autosomal dominantly inherited genodermatosis characterized by keratotic papules predominantly on the face, forehead, scalp, chest and the back. The disease does not seem to predispose to cutaneous malignancies. In an extensive literature review, only four patients were reported with Darier s disease and basal cell carcinomas (BCC). Arelatively young patient with Darier s disease who developed basal cell carcinoma on the left cheek and treated by wide total excision is presented.

Darier hastal›¤› yüz, al›n, saçl› deri, gö¤üs ve s›rttaki keratotik papüllerle karekterize nadir, otozomal dominant bir hastal›kt›r. Darier hastal›¤› kutanöz tümörlerin oluflumuna predispozan olarak görülmemektedir. Yap›lan literatür araflt›rmalar›nda, Darier hastal›¤› ile bazal hücreli karsinomun birlikteli¤inin sadece 4 olguda var oldu¤u saptanm›flt› r. Bu sunumda, yafl› nispeten genç olan ve Darier hastal›¤› ile sol yana¤›nda bazal hücreli karsinomu olan, genifl eksizyonla tedavi edilen bir bayan hasta sunulmaktad›r.
