Abstract (2. Language):
In our study, the ultrastructure of the incipient enamel lesions of the primary teeth seen often in Minks as while spots was investigated. 14 freshly extracted'primary molars with white spot lesions on the approximal surfaces were sectioned mesiodistally. The surfaces and the depths of the lesions were studied in SEM. Two specific layers, the quasi-intact surface layer and the demineralized lesion body were distinguished and structural pathways were noticed from the enamel surface to the subsurface lesion body. New enlarged hexagonal enamel prisms seen to be forme d following the destruction of this location were related to the re mineralization phenomenon.
