Abstract (2. Language):
This study is conducted as to evaluate the skeletal and sofi tissue changes following Begg Light-wire treatment on initial and final lateral cephalograms of 28 class 1 anterior crowding individuals whose four bicuspids are extracted. A similar control group also consisted of equal number of male and female individuals and lateral cephalograms are obtained within the pertinent cephalometric analysis indicated significant skeletal changes in line with the direction of facial growth. Soft tissue profile changes is found to be as anticipated as straightining of the profile which is a known outcome of extraction treatment.
