Neurofibromatosis is a hereditary condition characterized by multiple cafe-au-lait spots, neurofibromas and skeletal changes. A 40 years old woman was referred to the our clinic suffer from a sofi tissue swelling on her palate for six months. After the clinical and hispathological examinati' ons, the diagnosis of neurofibromatosis was confirmed. We have not carried out any treatment to Ihe patient that, ex¬cept total excision of the lesion on palate.

Norofibromatozis; cafe-au-lait lekeleri, nörofibroma-lar ve iskeletsel değişimler ile karakterize otomozal dominant bir hastalıktır. Yaklaşık 6 aydır damağında bulunan şişlik şikayeti ile kliniğimize müracaat eden 40 yaşındaki bayan hastaya yapılan histopatolojik ve klinik değerlendirmeler sonucunda tip 1 norofibromatozis tanısı konmuştur. Damağındaki kitlenin total eksizyo-nu haricinde hastaya herhangi bir tedavi yapılmamıştır.
