Hypodontia is a condition in which teeth are developmen-tally absent It has a prevalence of3,5-6,5% of the population with afemale to male ratio of 3:2. A 21 years old male who referred to our clinics'had 16, 14, 12, 22, 24, 31, 32, 34, 36, 41, 42, 44,46 missing amgenitally and had 5 deciduous teeth uihich are 54,71,81,85, Our aim was the rehabilitation dental of his pour apperance and malfunction with the fixed partial denture. Prosthetic treatment was achieved in two parts. In the first part, occlusal splint was applied in order to determine and to stabilize the vertical dimension of the patient. In the second part fixed partial denture was applied to rehabilitate the aesthetic and the malfunction at the new vertical dimension.

Hipodonti, bîr veya daha çok dişin konjenîtal eksikliği sonucu popülasyonda % 3,5-6,5 oranında ve kadın erkek oranı 2:3 olmak üzere görülen gelişimsel bir anomalidir. Kliniğimize başvuran 21 yaşında serbest meslek sahibi hastamızda gelişim anomalisidir. 16, 14, 12, 22, 24, 31, 34, 36, 41, 42, 44, 46 olmak üzere toplam 13 diş konjenîtal olarak mevcut değildi. Ayrıca, hastamızda 54,71,72,81,85 olmak üzere toplam 5 adet süt dişi mevcuttu. Amacımız, sabit protetik tedavi ile hastamızın kliniğimize müracaat etme nedeni olan dikey boyut düşüklüğüne bağh olarak oluşan estetik problemlerini çözümlemek ve hastanın yetersiz çiğneme fonksiyonunu rehabilite etmekti. Protetik tedavi iki bölümde oluşturuldu. Birinci bölümde, Hastanın dikey boyutunu belirlemek ve sabitlemek için oklüzal splint uygulandı, ikinci bölümde ise oluşturulan yeni dikey boyutta hastamıza estetik ve fonksiyonu kazandırmak için sabit protetik tedavi uygulandı.
