EVALUATION OF BONDING STRENGTH OF DIFFERENT CERAMIC REPAIR SYSTEMS TO CERAMIC MATERIALS

The aim of this research was to detertnine the bond strength values of VMK 68 ceramic material to ceramic repair materials, trade named as Cimara, Monobond-S, Silistor, Scotchbond, Clearfil activator and Porcelain repair primer. The changes in the bond strength values related to time were also evaluated. Each repair system were applied to the samples and all tlie samples were left in 37"C water and had thermocycling before force application. Shearing force was applied to 10 samples of each system after 30 days. At the end of 1 and 30 days the kigliest bond strength values were obtained with Scotchbond followed by Silistor, Porcelain repair primer, Clearfil activator, Cimara and Monobond S in decreasing order. The results were evaluated using t testi for paired samples. According to the results there was a significant increase in the bond strenght value of Silistor porcelain repair material at the end of 30 days. On the other hand mere was a significant decrease in Monobond-S and Porcelain repair piimer systems at the end 30 days. ScoctcJtbond and Clearfil activator systems have also displayed simitar bond strenth values

Yapılmış olan çalışmada; Cimara, Monobond-S, Silis-tor, Scotchprime, Clearfİl Activator ve Porcelain repair primer seramik tamir sistemleri ile VMK 68 seramik materyali arasındaki bağlanma dayanıklılığını ve zaman içerisinde bu dayanıklılık değerleri arasındaki değişimi belirlemek amaçlanmıştır. Herb ir sistemin uygu/andığı örnek/erden 10'ar adedi bir gün, 10'ar adedi otuz gün 37°C sıcaklıkdaki suda bekletilip, ısıl döngü uygulandıktan sonra seramik-kompozit birleşimine makaslama kuvveti uygulanmıştır. Birinci ve otuzuncu günün sonunda en yüksek bağlanma dayanıklılık değeri Scotchprime tamir sisteminde, daha sonra sırasıyla Silistor, Porcelain repair primer, Clearfİl activator, Cimara ve Monobond-S'de belirlenmiştir. Birinci ve otuzuncu günün sonunda elde edilen değerler Eşli serilerde t testi ile değerlendirilmiştir. Test sonuçlarına göre; Silistor seramik tamir sisteminde otuzuncu günün sonunda bağlanma dayanıklılığında anlamh bir artış olduğu; Cimara, Monobond S ve Porcelain repair pri-mer'de otuz gün sonra anlamlı düşüş olduğu; Scotc-hbond ve Clearfİl aetivator'un otuzuncu günün sonunda ilk değerlerine benzer ortalama bağlama dayanıklılık değerleri verdiği belirlenmiştir.
