Abstract (2. Language):
Fracture is defined as the total or partial loss of continity of bone due to a spontaneous and/or forceful trauma. Mandibular fractures are more oftenly seen while a lesser amount of force can easily cause discontinity at the mandibular corpus, symhis, foramen mentalis, 3rd molar area, coltum line and any locus on dental arch is accepted as weak regions and fractures are possible to occur at the prementioned areas. In this article complications of a spesific treatment process often used m fracture cases, miniplate osteosynthesis, are discussed.
