Abstract (2. Language):
Collagen is the most abundant protein in human being and animals, constituting 20% to 30% of the total body protein. In addition to its very poor antigenity , and because it is of hemostasis and Plays an important physiological role in the process of wound healing . Collagen has been described by many authors as the material of choice for prevention and control of bleeding . For the last dacade.collagen has been used extensively. The purpose of this study soft tissue response collagen (osteovit) were eveluated histopathologically 3,7,14 and 21 days following subcutaneously implantations in rats. The result showed that all materials were well tolerated to impair nor contribute to wound healing.
