CARIES ACTIVITY TESTS AND RISK FACTORS IN CARIES

Journal Name:

Publication Year:

Abstract (2. Language):
Many factors play role in the development of dental caries. When these factors are studied; ctiologic factors, external and internal factors and the role of genetics must be discussed together. Dentists should detect the symptoms that can cause a disease and apply a need-related therapy to prevent caries. With this aim, caries activity tests arc being used. Latest studies investigating caries activity tests aim to develop; more reliable, quicker and cheaper techniques.
