Oral pigmented lesions represent a variety of clinical entities, ranging from physiologic changes to manifestations of systemic illnesses and malignant neoplasms. These lesions were been classified and investigated by a lot of authors several times. In this paper, pigmented lesions of the oral cavity are classified and described, case reports are presented and related litarature's review is done.

Oral pigmentasyon, oral kavite ile dişetlerinin çeşitli lezyon ve durumlar nedeni ile renkleşmesi anlamına gelmektedir. Pigmentasyonlar fizyolojik olabileceği gibi bazı iyatrojenik uygulamalardan, sistemik hastalıklardan, mcdikal tedavilerden veya neoplazmlardan kaynağını alabilirler. Günümüze kadar oral pigmentasyonlar farklı şekillerde sınıflandırılmış ve incelenmeye çalışılmıştır. Bu derleme çalışmasında sık görülen oral pigmentasyonlar özetlenmekte, vaka sunumları yapılarak ve oral kavitede nadiren görülen pigmentasyonlar anlatılarak ilgili litaratür gözden geçirilmektedir.
