Abstract (2. Language): 
This paper surveys the efficiency wage literature and attempts to critically evaluate some of its accomplishments. Although there exist some theoretical problems to be resolved, the effi­ciency wage hypothesis provides important implications for labour economics, macroeconomic, and microeconomic theoiy. However, the efficiency wage models conform well to empirical find­ings.

Bu çalışma, Etkin Ücretler (Efficiency Wages) literatürünü incelenmekte ve Etkin Ücret Teorisinin bazı uygulamalarının eleştirel değerlendirmesini yapmaktadır. Sonuç olarak, çözülme­si gereken bazı teorik problemler olmasına rağmen, Etkin Ücret Hipotezi, çalışma ekonomisi, makroekonomik ve mikroekonomik teori için önemli sonuçlar sağlar. Bunun yanı sıra, Etkin Ücret Modelleri ampirik bulgularla da uyumludur.
