Abstract (Original Language): 
In this article, the news which related to Abdullah Öcalan trial, is searched and analyzed according to "Model of Uses and Gratification" in Cumhuriyet Daily in period of 26 May to 4 June 1999. Under the light of the findings, it can be said that the news of Cumhuriyet Daily wakes to its readers highly satisfy by joining to the news . So this model prove that readers are need to find satisfaction for themselves in this kind of news in that case.
