Abstract (2. Language):
This article states the potential problems concerning the social security of journalists and proposes solutions to cope with them. Recently large numbers of journalists have lost their jobs in Turkey because of working at news organizations without being member of unions. This displayed the importance of registering for the unions. Therefore, this article also talks about the importance of being member of unions. At the end of the article, I raise some of my personal thoughts concerning the topic discussed in the text.
