One of the foremost important functions of the press İs to inform public correctly, hi modern democrasies, the possibility of press in conveying news without being censored has a significant value as to the liberal system. However, sometimes it can be seen that there are some limitations on political subjects such as war and political terrorism. In this article, the limitations on the press and their consequences will be disgussed in the context of state mechanisms and society.
