Abstract (2. Language):
The flora of Çekmece Nuclear Research Enstitute (Istanbul) and its environs has been investigated. This area is situated on the Europe side of Istanbul. This study has been carried out between 2003-2005. at the end of this study 63 families, 241 genera and 411 taxa are identified. The endemic plants taxa are 4 and its rate is 0.98%. The phytogeographic rates are as follows: Mediterranean 21.7%, Euro-Sibirean 11.7% and Irano-Turanien 0.7%. The rates are phytogeographically unknown or cosmopolitan and rates of them are 65.9%.

Bu çalışma İstanbul'un Avrupa yakasında yer alan Çekmece Nükleer Araştırma ve Eğitim Merkezi ve çevresinin florası üzerine yapılmıştır. 2003-2005 yılları arasında süren araştırma sonunda, araştırma sahasında 63 familya ve 241 cinse ait 411 taksonun yer aldığı saptanmıştır. Çalışma alanında saptanan endemik tür sayısı 4 olup toplam tür sayısına oranı %0.98'dir. Florayı oluşturan 411 taksonun 89'u (% 21.7) Akdeniz, 48'i (% 11.7) Avrupa - Sibirya, 3'ü (% 0.7) ise İran - Turan elementidir. 271 (% 65.9) takson ise fitocoğrafik bölgesi bilinmeyen ya da çok bölgelidir.
