In this paper, we present climatic factors affecting radial growth of Uludağ fir (Abies nordmanniana (Stev.) Spach. subsp. bornmuelleriana (Mattf.) Coode&Cullen) from Küre, Kastamonu. Tree-ring measurement series obtained from Köse et al. (2010) were re-analyzed to investigate tree-ring growth -climate relationship. We developed a 120 year-long Uludağ fir chronology. Residual chronology was preferred for dendroclimatological analysis. The mean sensitivity value of the residual chronology was calculated to be 0.23. Uludağ fir trees in this area described to be climatically sensitive. Response function analysis was used to identify relationships between tree-ring width and climate. The results showed that high precipitation in January, high temperature in May-June and low precipitation in the period of February - August were limiting factors on the ring width of Uludağ fir.
