Abstract (2. Language): 
The aim of this study is to investigate if the dyadic adjustment and marital conflict scores varies in terms of demograpfic variables such as marriage style, duration of marriage, gender, number of children, education and economic status. Sample consists of 171 individuals, 112 women and 59 men. The participants were administered the Dyadic Adjustment Scale, Marital Conflict Questionnaire and Personal Information Form to lap information about demographic qualities. The results indicates that individuals who preferred arranged marriage have low dyadic adjustment scores in comparison with those who has chosen their partners themselves. Additionally individuals with low education and economic status tend to have low dyadic adjustment scores too. The increase of marital conflict scores and the number of children predict lower dyadic adjustment scores.

Bu araştırmanın amacı, evlilik uyum ve çatışma düzeylerinin evlenme tilrlerine ve evlilik süresi, cinsiyet, çocuk sayısı, eğitim ve ekonomik durum gibi demografik değişkenlere göre farklıhşıp farklılaşmadığtnı incelemektir. Çalışmanın katılımcıları 112 kadın ve 59 erkek, toplam 171 kişidir. Katılımcıların evlilik çalışması düzeylerini belirlemek için Evlilik Çatışması Ölçeği, evlilik uyumlarını belirlemek için Çift Uyum Ölçeği ve demografik özelliklerinin belirlenmesi için Kişisel Bilgi Formu uygulanmıştır. Bulgular, düşük eğitim ve düşük ekonomik seviyedeki bireylerin çift uyumlarının da düşük olduğunu ve anlaşarak evlenen kişilerin, çift uyumlarının görücü usulü ile evlenen kişilere göre daha yüksek olduğunu ortaya koymuştur. Son olarak evlilik çatışması ve çocuk sayısındaki artışın çift uyumıındaki düşüşü yordadığı bulunmuştur.
