Abstract (2. Language):
Muhammed b. Yahya from Nishapur is one of the poets of the
Shahrukh era and became famous with his appellation Fattahi. According
to the information related from various sources, the poet lived a secluded
life. He first used Tuffahi then Fattahi, Israri and Khumari as appellations.
He was also involved in calligraphy. His works attracted close attention in
the lands of the Ottomans and Indians and were translated and compared
as well as imitated by numerous people. His most important work is the
Dastûr-i ’Ushshâq, which a mathnawi full of symbolic, psychological and
mystic metaphors. His other work Husn u Dil is the same work
summarized by him in prose and it is one of the greatest examples of
rhymed prose. It is believed that the poet died in H.852 or 853.

Şâhruh zamanının şairlerinden olan ve Fettâhî mahlası ile şöhret
kazanan Muhammed b. Yahyâ Sîbek, Nîşâbûrludur. Şair hakkındaki
kaynakların genellikle birbirinden nakil suretiyle verdikleri bilgilere göre
Fettâhî münzevî bir hayat sürmüş; önce Tuffâhî daha sonra da Fettâhî,
Esrârî ve Humârî’yi mahlas olarak kullanmıştır. Hat sanatında da söz
sahibidir. Eserleri Osmanlı ve Hint topraklarında çok ilgi görmüş çeşitli
kişiler tarafından tercüme, tanzir ve taklitleri yapılmıştır. En önemli eseri
Destûr-i ‘Uşşâk adlı mesnevîsidir ki tasavvufi mecazlarla dolu, sembolik
ve psikolojik bir eserdir. Aynı eserin kendisi tarafından mensur olarak
özetlenmiş şekli olan Hüsn ü Dil adlı eseri de müsecca nesrin en güzel
örneklerindendir. Şair H.852 veya 853 yılında vefat etmiştir.
