DİN VE GELENEK: EBU MANSÛR ISFAHANÎ’NİN TASAVVUFİ İNANÇLARI

Abu Mansur Isfahani was one of unknown Sufis in the late fourth century and the early fifth century. He is the creator of a new point in the Sufism which did not continue and except three Hanbali Sufis: Khwaja Abdullah Ansari, Ahmad Jami Nameqy and Abdul Qadir Gilani. This method that put forward by Abu Mansur Isfahani was based on these principles: Following The Quran and the Sunnah, Opposition to innovation, Opposition to theological thoughts like Comparison, analogy, snterpretation. When we look into his works we can see that he based his mystic thoughts on The Quran and the Sunnah and opposition to “jamalparasti” and dismantlion “sharia”. We need to remember that Hanbali sect is a special Sunni sect that emphasize on rumors (prophetic traditions), instead of comprehension (theology).
