Internet which has been prevalently used in recent years, has a lot of effects on many fields from finance to health. On the other hand, improvements in internet cause a number of new firms to emerge and develop swiftly in this industry. In this framework, development process of internet, layers of internet economy and applications of e-commerce are analysed. The study also includes the usage of internet in Turkey and e-commercc facilities.

Son yıllarda, yaygın bir kullanıma ulaşan inlemelin, fmanslan sağlığa kadar birçok sektörde etkileri görülmektedir. Diğer yandan, internetteki gelişme, internet sektöründe yeni firmaların ortaya çıkmasına ve hızla gelişmelerine yol açmaktadır. Bu çerçevede, çalışmada internetin gelişimi, internet ekonomisi katmanları ve e-ticaret uygulamaları incelenmektedir. Türkiye 'de internet kullanımı ve e-ticaret faaliyetleride çalışmanın kapsamı dahilindedir.
